Elaphe guttata guttata

Often referred to as Red Albino's, they are really normal corns without any black pigment (melanin). Dr. Bernard Betchtel found the very first one in North Carolina, some time in the 1950s, this was the first ever corn snake colour morph, look where it has taken the hobby! The pattern, intensity and distribution of colour can vary tremendously. As with any purchase of a snake, be selective, don't just go for the cheapest.
